Today, all across the globe, the amount of Copper and its alloys consumed, is in excess of 18 million tonnes per year. Copper tubing is yellowish red, but when it is polished, it gets a kind of bright metallic luster. 1083 ºC, is the melting point of Copper which is pure. Tubes made from soft (ductile) copper are used in heat pumps and in refrigerant lines for split ACs. For water lines, rigid copper is used. As tubes made from Copper are long lasting, they are a favorite for use in various kinds of systems like cooling, heating, plumbing and others.
